Libby Langsdorf

Libby has over 15 years’ experience in public service and in the private sector. Her background in real estate, economic development and financial services is leveraged by clients looking to activate stakeholders around policy issues and maintain their reputations. Prior to joining Res Publica Group, Libby served as Deputy Press Secretary for Mayor Rahm Emanuel focusing on economic development, real estate and finance. Previously, she ran the New York office of Grayling (Atomic PR), providing guidance to tech clients involved in mergers and acquisitions and establishing crisis communications programs. Before that, she was Assistant Vice President for Public Affairs at New York City Economic Development Corporation under Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Libby holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the George Washington University and a Master’s in Public Administration from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. She is a board member of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.
