He served as a senior advisor to Illinois Governor Jim Edgar and began his career navigating hospitality and tourism industry issues for the prominent private owners of Hyatt Hotel Corporation. He serves on the Chicago Advisory Board of U.S. Bank following years as a member of the Metropolitan Pier & Exposition Authority and Chair of Navy Pier and its marketing committee.
